About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join our growing team in Stockport.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 2 years’ experience working within residential conveyancing who is looking to develop their career within a busy, supportive and professional environment.
You will work alongside experienced conveyancing professionals, assisting with residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
The successful candidate will be organised, confident communicating with clients and third parties, and comfortable managing a busy workload.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion
- Preparing and reviewing conveyancing documentation
- Ordering and reviewing property searches
- Dealing with enquiries and assisting with responses
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, solicitors, lenders and other parties
- Providing clients with regular updates throughout their transaction
- Preparing files for exchange and completion
- Dealing with post-completion administration where required
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case management records
- Supporting fee earners and the wider conveyancing team
- Ensuring matters progress efficiently while maintaining a high standard of client service
About You
- To be considered for this position, you should have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential conveyancing
- Good knowledge of the residential conveyancing process
- Experience dealing with sales and purchases
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence dealing directly with clients and other professionals
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload
- A professional and proactive approach
- Experience using conveyancing case management systems would be advantageous
- Experience with leasehold transactions, remortgages, transfers of equity and new-build matters would also be beneficial.
