Summary: This role is for a Conversational AI Designer at QX, focusing on creating user-centric AI solutions for voice and digital channels. The position involves translating business goals into conversational flows using low-code/no-code platforms. The designer will also be responsible for testing, refining, and monitoring AI agents to enhance user experiences. This is a contract position that allows for remote or hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, configure, and maintain conversational flows for voice and digital AI Agents using platforms such as Cognigy.ai and Kore.ai.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed dialog designs, intents, entities, and logic for implementation in low-code/no-code tools.
  • Design, write, and refine system prompts and few-shot examples for LLMs to ensure accurate and context-aware responses.
  • Implement and fine-tune context handling, memory, and routing logic for consistent AI Agent behavior across channels.
  • Create and run test cases, perform conversational QA, and fix defects based on user journeys and edge cases.
  • Monitor performance using analytics and conversation transcripts, identify friction points, and iterate on flows and prompts.
  • Prototype new AI Agent features, validate with stakeholders, and harden successful prototypes into production-ready flows.
  • Join client-facing workshops and stand-ups to gather feedback and demonstrate live changes in AI platforms.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in designing conversational flows and scripting interactions for AI-driven solutions.

Role Description This is a contract, remote/hybrid role for a Europe-based Conversational AI Designer. As CAI Designer, you are the voice of the end user. You will translate business goals and technical capabilities into coherent, human-centric experiences on voice and digital channels on low-code/no-code platforms such as Cognigy.ai and Kore.ai.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Build, configure, and maintain conversational flows for voice and digital AI Agents using platforms such as Cognigy.ai, Kore.ai and more.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed dialog designs, intents, entities and logic that can be directly implemented in low code / no code tools.
  • Design, write and refine system prompts and few-shot examples for LLMs to ensure accurate, context-aware and safe responses.
  • Implement and fine-tune context handling, memory, and routing logic so AI Agents behave consistently across channels and sessions.
  • Create and run test cases, perform conversational QA, and fix defects directly in the platform based on user journeys and edge cases.
  • Monitor performance using analytics and conversation transcripts, identify friction points, and iterate on flows and prompts to improve containment, CSAT and handle time.
  • Prototype new AI Agent features quickly, validate with internal stakeholders and users, and then harden successful prototypes into production-ready flows.
  • Join client-facing workshops and stand-ups to walk through flows, gather feedback, refine requirements and demonstrate live changes in the AI platforms.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in designing conversational flows, scripting interactions, and crafting engaging dialogue for AI-driven solutions.
  • Experience with deploying LLM-based AI Agents and applications and associated skills i.e. prompt/context engineering.
