Summary: The Controls Testing and Remediation Manager will be pivotal in enhancing the internal control environment at DLG, ensuring compliance and operational resilience. This role involves developing and implementing control testing strategies, overseeing the assessment of key controls, and coordinating remediation activities. The manager will work closely with senior stakeholders to report on testing results and maintain regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The position is based in London and follows a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and embed a control testing strategy and framework across the Group.
  • Oversee testing of key controls, assessing their design and operational effectiveness.
  • Identify and report on control gaps and deficiencies, creating actionable plans with stakeholders.
  • Establish a remediation framework to resolve issues in line with internal standards.
  • Lead reporting of testing results and remediation activities for senior leaders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and adapt approaches as needed.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to create a proactive approach to controls testing.
  • Champion continuous improvement and share best practices to strengthen the control environment.

  • Strong experience in control testing or risk management in a regulated environment.
  • Deep understanding of internal controls, regulatory compliance, and risk management frameworks.
