Key Responsibilities:
- Execute Proof of Concept and pilot plant deployment support for a prototype cobot arm integrated with an autonomous mobile platform.
- Conduct full-scale experiments in a lab environment with the robotics engineering team.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing engineering team for in-plant deployment.
- Support initial deployments in a plant environment in southeast Michigan.
- Engage in indefinite feature additions and program expansion opportunities post-initial POC/Pilot programs.
Key Skills:
- Fanuc programming experience.
- Siemens PLC programming experience.
- Mechanical and Electrical technical aptitude.
- Self-starting, 'project ownership' attitude.
- Spanish language capability (preferred).
- AMR experience (preferred).
- Cobot experience (preferred).

Job Description:
This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of robotics in manufacturing at client in the newly formed Autonomous Robotic Center. You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of robotics, contributing to the development of advanced manufacturing processes and technologies.
This role is responsible to execute a Proof of Concept and Pilot plant deployment support of a prototype Type C (cobot arm integrated with an autonomous mobile platform) to do kitting and sequencing tasks in a manufacturing environment.
This role will start in a lab environment in Warren, MI executing full scale experiments with the support of the robotics engineering team located in Silao Mexico. These experiments will be in concert with the manufacturing engineering team who will be responsible for the in-plant deployment.
Following success in the lab environment this role will support the initial deployments in a plant environment in the southeast Michigan area.
This role is 100% on-site in both the plant and lab phases. Following the initial POC/Pilot programs there will be indefinite feature additions and program expansion opportunities in this technical space.
