Summary: The Controls Engineer will be integral to a warehouse automation project, responsible for designing and delivering control and automation systems. This role encompasses the entire project lifecycle, from design to installation and commissioning, ensuring optimal system performance. The engineer will collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop effective solutions while providing technical support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver control and automation systems for warehouse automation projects.
- Work with internal teams and clients to understand requirements and develop practical, high-quality solutions.
- Support the setup, testing, and commissioning of systems at customer sites.
- Ensure equipment meets performance, safety, and compliance standards.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical support when required.
Key Skills:
- Previous experience in an automation or controls engineering role, ideally in a warehouse, manufacturing, or baggage handling.
- PLC Programming experience with Siemens S7/TIA portal.
- Good understanding of control systems, sensors, and industrial machinery.
