Summary: The Control Systems Engineer role is a contract position based in Manchester, requiring extensive experience in control system engineering. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement control systems for automated systems such as baggage handling lines, conveyors, or palletisers.
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for automated systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Utilize Siemens TIA Portal for system programming and troubleshooting.
- Apply engineering principles across various industries including water management, FMCG, and building automation.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in Control System Engineering.
- Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal.
- HNC minimum; HND is advantageous.
- Experience with automated systems (baggage handling, conveyors, palletisers).
- Experience in FAT and SAT delivery.
- Demonstrated experience across multiple industries.
