Job Role: Control Engineer-MATLAB/Simulink & MIL Testing
Work Location: Stafford, UK – Hybrid-3 Days in a week
Mode of Hiring: 6–12 Months Contract Position
Job Summary
The Model In Loop (MIL) Engineer will be responsible for delivering Controls & Protection Application team activities on time and in line with the programme schedule, through effective coordination with the NPI and Delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement MIL (Model-in-the-Loop) test cases in the MATLAB/Simulink environment.
- Review test results against design requirements.
- Support the creation of Lessons Learned and document issues encountered during testing.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by following Lean principles.
- Execute regression test cases on a regular basis.
- Generate detailed reports on test results.
- Ensure the product can be effectively used within its operational environment.
- Update test scripts based on identified bugs, system changes, and upgrades.
- Maintain and upgrade the test environment as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Fluency in English.
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) testing.
- Experience developing and executing test cases and regression testing.
- Ability to analyse test results against design requirements.
- Strong documentation and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within Controls & Protection or related engineering environments is desirable.
