About the Role

Hays Facilities Management are delighted to be partnering with a leading UK facilities management provider in the search for an experienced Contract Manager to oversee a prestigious commercial building services contract in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven FM professional with a strong hard services background to take full responsibility for operational delivery, financial performance, client relationships and team leadership across a high-profile site.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of all hard FM and building services activities across the contract.
• Manage and develop engineering and operational teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Ensure contractual KPIs and SLAs are consistently achieved or exceeded.
• Take ownership of contract budgets, P&L performance and cost control.
• Drive health & safety, environmental compliance and quality standards across the site.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Identify and develop opportunities for service improvement and business growth.
• Lead recruitment, performance management and staff development activities.
• Produce operational reports and attend client review meetings.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and contractual obligations.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years' experience managing Hard Services FM contracts.
• Strong technical understanding of building services maintenance.
• Proven experience managing large commercial properties and FM contracts valued above £1.5m annually.
• Demonstrable experience managing budgets, P&L and commercial performance.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams within a facilities management environment.
• Management qualification or equivalent leadership experience.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
