About the Role
Hays Facilities Management are delighted to be partnering with a leading UK facilities management provider in the search for an experienced Contract Manager to oversee a prestigious commercial building services contract in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven FM professional with a strong hard services background to take full responsibility for operational delivery, financial performance, client relationships and team leadership across a high-profile site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of all hard FM and building services activities across the contract.
- Manage and develop engineering and operational teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Ensure contractual KPIs and SLAs are consistently achieved or exceeded.
- Take ownership of contract budgets, P&L performance and cost control.
- Drive health & safety, environmental compliance and quality standards across the site.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Identify and develop opportunities for service improvement and business growth.
- Lead recruitment, performance management and staff development activities.
- Produce operational reports and attend client review meetings.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and contractual obligations.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years' experience managing Hard Services FM contracts.
- Strong technical understanding of building services maintenance.
- Proven experience managing large commercial properties and FM contracts valued above £1.5m annually.
- Demonstrable experience managing budgets, P&L and commercial performance.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams within a facilities management environment.
- Management qualification or equivalent leadership experience.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
