Summary: The Contracts Manager for Environment will oversee the management of fabrication access metal works for projects primarily associated with Scottish Water, focusing on clean and sewage schemes. This role involves ensuring the timely completion of multiple projects while adhering to budget constraints and compliance with legislation. The manager will liaise with clients, coordinate with teams, and manage site safety and documentation. The position requires a proactive individual with a strong engineering background and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage engineering projects from inception to completion using in-house resources.
• Ensure timely completion of multiple concurrent projects within budget.
• Liaise with clients' engineering and operations staff to meet or exceed KPIs.
• Attend internal and external meetings and site visits.
• Ascertain project requirements and ensure compliance with legislation and standards.
• Assist in preparing estimates and quotations.
• Conduct site surveys and produce drawings for manufacture.
• Complete contract documentation including job cards and risk assessments.
• Manage site safety, health, and environmental issues.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Compile final contract documentation and manage profit/loss on contracts.
• Respond to inquiries and undertake additional tasks as required.
