Summary: The Contracts Analyst role at Scottish Power Transmission involves financial and business analysis to support the company's capital investment program. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform duties in accordance with financial and contract management governance policies.
• Analyse spending across major project frameworks, highlighting variances against budget and forecast.
• Collate data to provide summary reports on financial and performance positions.
• Consolidate and produce weekly and monthly business performance statistics.
• Produce reports for senior managers related to major project portfolios and purchasing plans.
• Support the Contract Manager in driving business performance.
• Liaise with Major Projects Business Units and the wider business.
• Update and administer various systems, databases, and spreadsheets for contract management.
• Assist in developing new procedures for contract management and participate in process improvement projects.
• Work may require attendance at other Scottish Power locations.
• Work unsupervised on multiple tasks after training.

Key Skills:

• Experience in financial governance practices within large organizations.
• Formal training and qualifications in financial/contract management or data analysis.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Proficient in business IT applications; experience with SAP is beneficial.
