Summary: The Contracts Administrator role is essential for managing trade contracts within the oil trading industry, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and legal standards. The position involves entering and monitoring contracts, coordinating with various departments, and analyzing contracts for potential risks. Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and monitor trade contracts, resolving inconsistencies in data.
- Coordinate with Legal, Risk Management, Credit, Internal Audit, and Marketing departments to ensure compliance with corporate policies.
- Monitor trade agreements for compliance with trader approval limits.
- Establish and verify formula pricing in SAP.
- Monitor purchase and sales orders for hedge and profit/loss models.
- Create inter-company contracts for accounting purposes.
- Ensure accuracy of third-party contracts.
- Read and analyze contracts for potential risks and resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate with departments regarding risks and changes in contracts.
- Generate reports and assist with special projects as needed.
Key Skills:
- Previous experience in Contracts within the oil or commodity trading industry.
- Understanding of operational liabilities in physical commodity contracts.
- Excellent teamwork and knowledge-sharing abilities.
- Thorough and methodical approach with attention to detail.
