The role

We are seeking a Vehicle Testing Technical Administrator to join our team at the Shoreham office. This role bridges administration with technical support, enabling engineers and test technicians to focus on test execution while ensuring that all supporting processes, records, and communications are accurate, efficient, and audit-ready.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Administration & Coordination
  • Schedule and coordinate type-approval and development tests in collaboration with engineers and both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage logistics of vehicle deliveries and collections in conjunction with customers' requirements.
  • Prepare and issue test requests, and other related process-documentation required to conduct testing in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Track the progress of tests, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Assist Engineers with cost-trackers, highlighting budget statuses when required.
  • Raising of purchase orders and engaging key procurement stakeholders.
  • Technical Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate register of equipment calibration information, working with the team to organise calibration activities.
  • Ensure compliance with quality management systems, and relevant vehicle testing regulations.
  • Support the preparation and submission of technical files to regulatory authorities and customers.
  • Manage document control systems, ensuring controlled distribution and archiving of test procedures and results.
  • Data & Reporting
  • Assist engineers in Quality Assurance and compiling and formatting test data into reports suitable for internal and external use.
