Summary: The role involves hiring two Contract Test Analysts to support a high-priority cloud data transformation and migration programme focused on Azure. The analysts will execute data automation testing, validate service components, and collaborate with various teams to ensure data integrity and performance. This position is critical for the successful migration of data into a cloud environment. The contract is initially for six months with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and support data automation testing across cloud-based systems, ensuring migration and transformation processes are accurate and reliable.
- Work with Azure services including Databricks, implementing and testing Python notebooks, and building/testing scripts for infrastructure components.
- Validate service components within Azure, ensuring all solutions meet functional and performance requirements.
- Collaborate with data engineers, developers and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and scripts.
Key Skills:
- Proven testing experience in data transformation and cloud migration projects.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services, especially Databricks, Python notebooks and cloud infrastructure components.
- Strong test automation skills, including scripting and execution of automated tests.
- Good understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes and cloud data architecture.
