Summary: The Contract Technical Engineering Lead / Consultant at EKIUM will play a crucial role in supporting Nuclear New Build projects at Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C. This position involves providing technical clarification, overseeing supplier interactions, and managing contract-related processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical technical regulations and experience in the nuclear sector. The role offers hybrid working arrangements and a full-time consultancy position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical clarification and resolve inquiries from suppliers and clients.
  • Oversee technical aspects of supplier interactions during design, procurement, and delivery phases.
  • Monitor the manufacturing process and ensure timely delivery of equipment to the site.
  • Conduct reviews of supplier technical documents and annual surveillance reports.
  • Manage risks, opportunities, open points, UK design changes, and exemption requests from suppliers.
  • Handle contract transfer sheets communicating modifications to clients.
  • Coordinate with clients' teams involved in contracts related to radioprotection equipment.

Key Skills:

  • Solid understanding of RCC-E electrical technical regulations and associated reference systems.
  • Background knowledge of the nuclear field through academic training or professional experience.
  • Awareness of processes involved in energy sector industrial projects.
  • Experience in reviewing technical documentation.
