Contract Technical Author (Aerospace)

Summary

Our client is currently supporting a major aerospace documentation programme and are looking for experienced Aerospace Technical Authors to join a long-term project based in Farnborough.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and conversion of aircraft technical documentation, supporting a large-scale aerospace publishing programme. Work will include both ATA100 manuals and S1000D conversion projects across a wide range of aircraft documentation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Aerospace Technical Author
  • Strong working knowledge of ATA100 and S1000D
  • Experience producing or converting aircraft technical manuals AMM's & CMM
  • Strong Proficiency with Adobe FrameMaker
  • Ability to work within large aerospace documentation programmes
