Contract SIP/VOIP Developer

Summary: The role is for a Contract SIP/VOIP Developer focused on designing and implementing SIP-based communications solutions. The position requires expertise in NodeJS, REST API design, and event-based programming, along with ensuring interoperability with various telephony platforms. The developer will work on full-stack development and utilize cloud technologies, particularly AWS, in a 6-month contract capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop SIP-based communications solutions using NodeJS and REST APIs.
• Ensure interoperability with FreeSWITCH, Asterisk, SBC platforms, or CPaaS solutions.
• Implement client/server architectures for SIP telephony.
• Utilize IP networking technologies and web development skills.
• Work with RDBMS and cloud technologies, especially AWS.
• Administer and configure CentOS Linux environments.
• Apply knowledge of the Open Development Platform (ODP) in development tasks.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in NodeJS and event-based programming.
• Experience with SIP and VOIP technologies.
• Strong understanding of REST API design.
• Familiarity with FreeSWITCH, Asterisk, and SBC platforms.
