Summary: iO Associates is seeking three Senior Software Engineers to join a UK Government department for a 24-month programme starting in September 2025. The role requires a hybrid working arrangement, with 2 to 3 days per week on-site in Newcastle. Candidates should possess strong experience in Java and Node.js development, along with proficiency in cloud services and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of a 2-year programme for a UK Government department.
  • Develop software using Java and Node.js.
  • Utilize Spring Boot, Docker, and Kubernetes in a production environment.
  • Work with AWS or Azure cloud services.
  • Collaborate within Agile delivery teams.
