Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support in the delivery of concept studies and strategies, leading to planning applications and technical approvals.
- Contribute to various development projects across multiple sectors and clients.
- Manage multiple multi-disciplinary project/client accounts simultaneously.
- Guide and support a team of technical staff of various grades.
- Engage with high-profile clients, manage stakeholders, and liaise with design teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered on budget, on schedule, and meet technical and legal standards.
Key Skills:
- Knowledge and experience in highway design, drainage strategy, flood risk assessment, and utility design.
- Understanding of hydraulics, hydrology, geotechnics, and building structures.
- Ability to produce infrastructure masterplans, technical reports, and construction drawings.
- Familiarity with relevant design codes and preparation of drawings for contract documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with awareness of climate change and sustainability guidance.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as InfoDrainage and Civils 3D.
- Experience liaising with clients, design teams, and local authorities for technical approvals.
- Knowledge of legal processes, planning, and contract procedures for development projects.
- Robust understanding of financial and contractual aspects of project delivery.
- Postgraduate experience or nearing Chartership with relevant commercial responsibility.
