Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build a production-grade data pipeline that ingests recorded conversations from multiple systems and processes them on a scheduled basis
  • Integrate with several external operational platforms and communication systems, including handling incomplete or inconsistent metadata
  • Build processing workflows for transcription, speaker separation, anonymisation, enrichment, storage, and retrieval
  • Design secure and scalable AWS infrastructure using services such as S3, Lambda, ECS / Fargate, Step Functions, EventBridge, and RDS
  • Model and store both structured and semantic conversation data using PostgreSQL and vector search
  • Implement observability, alerting, audit logging, and operational safeguards for privacy-sensitive systems
  • Work closely with leadership and internal stakeholders to translate business questions into technical solutions
  • Help shape the technical roadmap, delivery approach, and engineering standards for this area of the platform

Key Skills:

  • 7+ years experience building production backend, platform, or data systems
  • Strong experience with AWS and cloud-native architecture
  • Strong SQL and PostgreSQL experience, including schema design, indexing, and performance optimisation
  • Experience building robust data ingestion and processing pipelines for third-party sources
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts such as retries, idempotency, monitoring, and failure handling
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as AWS CDK or Terraform

Role Description

As we grow, we are looking to hire an experienced, hands-on Senior Platform / Data Engineer to lead the development of a conversation intelligence pipeline supporting consultation, support, and sales workflows. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning complex platform problems end-to-end and designing secure, reliable systems that transform operational data into meaningful business insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build a production-grade data pipeline that ingests recorded conversations from multiple systems and processes them on a scheduled basis
  • Integrate with several external operational platforms and communication systems , including handling incomplete or inconsistent metadata
  • Build processing workflows for: transcription speaker separation anonymisation enrichment storage retrieval
  • Design secure and scalable AWS infrastructure using services such as: S3 Lambda ECS / Fargate Step Functions EventBridge RDS
