Contract Senior Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse data to identify trends, patterns and anomalies.
• Develop reports, dashboards and KPI monitoring tools using Power BI, Tableau or similar.
• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation and validation.
• Build efficient data models and ensure data quality, accuracy and consistency.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate insights.
• Maintain clear documentation and follow data governance, privacy and security standards.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Security cleared (SC) – This is a non negotiable requirement
• Strong SQL skills and experience with reporting and visualisation tools.
• Understanding of data modelling, data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle confidential data responsibly.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake or Redshift.
• Knowledge of Python or R.
• Power BI/Tableau certifications or relevant STEM professional membership.
