Key Skills:

  • Strong experience in UK residential and/or commercial development
  • Proven track record securing S104, S38 and S278 approvals
  • Confident working independently
  • UK-based with right to work
  • Software knowledge in MicroDrainage and Site 3D

Contract Senior Civil Engineer – Drainage & Highways

A busy civil engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Civil Engineer on a contract basis.

This role will focus primarily on residential and commercial development schemes, with an emphasis on drainage and adoptable highways design.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Surface & foul water drainage design
  • SuDS strategies and detailed design
  • Flood Risk Assessments
  • S104 drainage agreements
  • S38 & S278 highway design and approvals
  • Liaison with LLFAs, Environment Agency and Water Authorities
  • Supporting projects from feasibility through to technical approval

This is a hands-on technical role suited to someone comfortable working autonomously and delivering compliant, buildable solutions.

  • Site 3D
