Summary: The role of Senior Business Analyst at Deloitte involves leading business change and analysis initiatives, ensuring technology solutions align with business needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Outline problems, proposed solutions, expected benefits, costs, risks, and return on investment.
- Prepare executive summaries, problem statements, strategic alignments, options analyses, financial analyses, risk assessments, and recommendations.
- Conduct stakeholder analysis and management planning, including stakeholder registers and communication plans.
- Document current ('As-Is') and future ('To-Be') business processes, including process flow diagrams and key performance indicators.

The Role
We're looking for a Senior BA to join the Business Change and Analysis team in Central Business Services. You will be the "voice of the business" ensuring that our technology teams deliver solutions that meet business needs by understanding our business, eliciting requirements and improving the user experience. You will support the Head of Business Analysis to evolve the Business Analysis practice, being a role model and leader for other Business Analysts on the team.
Essential Skills and Experience
- An experienced Senior Business Analyst in a role with process transformation or improving user experience.
- Experience of collaborating and managing relationships with business stakeholders, at all levels, with the ability to challenge where required.
- Experience in managing, mentoring and developing other team members.
- Ability to quickly understand high level business processes and problems and present solutions and options.
- Be a team player, work collaboratively and positively with others in an open, friendly, flexible and facilitating manner.
- Able to define scope and distil lots of information into high level understandable concepts and business language.
- Experience of process mapping, requirements elicitation techniques and Business Case writing.
- Navigate through and manage change in a fast-paced environment.
- Work in a complex partnership model and decide which style of analysis and project delivery is appropriate.
Desirable:

Deliverables: Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Outline the problem, proposed solution, expected benefits (financial and non-financial), costs, risks, and return on investment.
- Executive summary, problem statement, strategic alignment, options analysis, financial analysis, risk assessment, and recommendations.
- Stakeholder Analysis and Management Plan:Identify all individuals or groups affected by or influencing a project, assesses their interests, influence, and impact and outlines strategies for engaging and managing their expectations. Stakeholder register, power/interest grid, communication plan tailored to different stakeholder groups.
- As-Is and To-Be Process Models: Document current business processes ('As-Is') to understand inefficiencies and design optimised future processes ('To-Be') that incorporate new solutions or improvements. Process flow diagrams (e.g., BPMN), swimlane diagrams, process narratives, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Business Requirements Document (BRD) / Epic & Feature Definitions (Agile)
