Summary: The role of SAP GRC Consultant requires an experienced Chartered Accountant with expertise in SAP FICO and IT Governance. The consultant will ensure that SAP systems align with governance frameworks and compliance standards, focusing on financial processes. This hybrid position involves overseeing governance activities during SAP implementations and conducting compliance reviews. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial compliance and regulatory control within SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the SME for IT Governance in SAP FICO modules, including system controls, user access reviews, and segregation of duties (SoD).
  • Ensure compliance with SOX, GDPR, GxP, and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Conduct IT General Controls (ITGC) and application control reviews across finance and non-finance systems.
  • Oversee governance activities during SAP implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Review SAP design and configuration to ensure alignment with financial governance standards.
  • Support IT Quality Management activities, including providing risk-based assessments on SAP configuration changes and advising on control implications.
  • Act as a liaison between Finance, IT, and Quality teams to ensure cross-functional alignment on governance and compliance.

Key Skills:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Strong SAP FICO knowledge, including configuration and end-to-end finance process understanding.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT Governance, SAP compliance, or risk management.
  • Expertise in SOX, financial controls, and computer system validation (CSV).
  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement across finance and IT.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and risk analysis skills.
  • Understanding of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and Agile).
