Detailed Description From Employer:

Contract role - Technical Project Architect £29-£39 per hour A respected design-led architecture practice in London is seeking a talented Architect to join its studio, working on a range of UK retail, residential and shopping centre projects. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative environment where design quality and technical delivery are equally valued. The role is ideally suited to an ARB-registered Architect with around four to eight years’ post-qualification experience, who is confident leading projects from RIBA Stage 3 onwards. You will bring strong technical expertise alongside the ability to take projects through delivery, contributing meaningfully at both front-end design and detailed construction stages. Experience within retail or residential sectors is highly desirable, particularly on complex, multi-stakeholder schemes. You will play a key role in managing and mentoring a relatively junior team, so prior experience overseeing small teams and supporting developing architects is essential. The position requires excellent coordination skills, including working closely with multidisciplinary consultant teams and managing project packages efficiently to ensure smooth delivery. Candidates should demonstrate expert proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, alongside a strong grounding in technical detailing and construction knowledge. A proactive and collaborative approach is important, with the ability to balance design ambition with practical delivery considerations. In return, you will join a well-established practice that offers a supportive studio culture, opportunities for professional growth, and the chance to work on high-profile retail projects across the UK. We will do our very best to help you find your ideal job. Our approach is personable and we believe that your job hunting experience should be enjoyable. We look forward to hearing from you.
