Summary: This role is for a Contract RF Technician based in Norfolk, offering an initial 3-month contract with a strong possibility of extension. The position is outside IR35, allowing candidates to operate through their own PSC. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing RF and DC aspects of complex RF assemblies and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the company.

About Redline has a fantastic initial 3 month contract opportunity, with a high possibility of extension, for a Contract RF Technician based in Norfolk. This role has an indicative OUTSIDE IR35 determination therefore we can accept candidates who would like to operate through their own PSC. Our customer, who are currently on a path of continual growth and are obtaining significant market share in the electronics space, require additional resource due to continued project wins. They are looking for an experienced professional to join them to diagnose both RF & DC aspects of highly complex RF assemblies down to component level and complete relevant documentation. You will also have the opportunity to make suggestions for continuous improvement within the business.

Key skills required for the Contract RF Technician based in Norfolk:

  • Experience in RF tune & test
  • Experience with Electronics Diagnostics
  • Understanding of RF assembly methods and impacts of implementation on RF performance
  • Understanding of modern RF test equipment
