Summary: The role of Contract Quality Assurance Engineer involves supporting the Quality Assurance function during a critical transition period within a highly regulated environment. The engineer will focus on internal audits, documentation, non-conformance report (NCR) activity, and general QA support to ensure robust quality assurance processes. The position requires a proactive and experienced individual who can work autonomously and efficiently. An ASAP start is preferred for this contract role based in Alcester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out internal audits and maintain readiness ahead of scheduled audit periods.
- Manage, track and close out non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Review, update and maintain quality system documentation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer and internal quality standards.
- Provide day-to-day QA support across operations to maintain process discipline and product compliance.
Key Skills:
- Experience in a highly regulated industry.
- Confident conducting internal audits to established standards.
- Strong background in QA activities, including NCR management and documentation control.
- Ability to interpret and update specifications, quality procedures and technical documentation.
