Summary: The Contract Programme Director will lead a significant CRM transformation project, focusing on the transition from a legacy system to Salesforce. This role involves managing a multi-disciplinary team and ensuring effective stakeholder engagement throughout the process. The position is based in Southampton with a hybrid working arrangement and is classified as outside IR35. The contract is initially for 18 months, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex CRM migration from legacy to Salesforce.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and the implementation partner to ensure programme milestones are met.
  • Manage and align cross-functional teams including Business Analysis, Architecture, Procurement, Finance, Testing, and Regulatory.
  • Build a cohesive and high-performing programme team.
  • Drive effective stakeholder engagement and communication at all levels of the business.
  • Ensure change is embedded through coaching, leadership, and clear communication.
  • Monitor and report on risks, dependencies, and programme performance.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale Salesforce CRM transformation programmes.
  • Expertise in legacy system decommissioning and Salesforce implementations.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills at C-level and across operational teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-profile change through coaching and collaboration.
  • Pre-payment systems experience.
  • Experience in regulated environments is highly advantageous.

Overview

Spectrum IT are working closely with a Southampton based client to hire a Contract Programme Director . This a brand-new role created to lead a large-scale CRM transformation programme. As the Contract Programme Director, you will oversee the decommissioning of a legacy bespoke CRM system and then focus on successfully implementing the new Salesforce system. This will be carried out alongside the selected external delivery partner. In this role, you will oversee a multi-disciplinary team (programme leads, developers, BA's, enterprise architect as well as project teams members from finance and procurement). With an overall aim of drive delivery across all phases of the programme, providing clear governance, strong stakeholder engagement, and robust change leadership - You will ultimately play a pivot role in this transformation.
