The position centres around supporting and refining operational processes within a technical manufacturing setting. It combines practical, shop-floor engagement with a focus on process consistency, measurement practices and broader workflow improvements, particularly in a more specialised, lower-volume production environment. We’re interested in individuals who have worked within process or manufacturing engineering contexts involving technically complex products, and who are comfortable contributing to structured improvement initiatives. Experience with assembly-focused environments, continuous improvement methodologies, and quality or measurement frameworks would be relevant, as would familiarity with production tooling, mechanical principles, controlled manufacturing environments, and data-led decision-making. The ability to collaborate effectively with both engineering and operational stakeholders would also be important.

We’re looking for experience in:

  • Process or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Ensuring improvements in low-volume, high-mix, jig-led assembly environments
  • Lean / Six Sigma methodologies ( 5 years+)
  • PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA
  • Jig/fixture specification and commissioning
  • ISO 9001 and/or ISO 17025
