Role Purpose

We are looking for an experience Payroll Consultant who has managed and run payroll processes and has an understanding of the absence implications on payroll. Having an understanding of time and labour or timesheet / overtime activities on payroll activities is desirable. You do not need to have experience of Oracle Cloud Payroll but having some experience of an ERP like this would be a benefit. Someone who has been a product lead or process lead for Payroll for an ERP implementation would also be desirable for this role.

Experience:

You will join a team consisting of HR business functional consultants who are advising the client and liaising with the systems integrator (SI) organisations. Your experience of running payroll activities will support the client to understand how to best design and test the solution. The considerations that you identify will be key to advising our client.

Your role will be to:

  • Work with the client’s Oracle Cloud Payroll experts to discuss and identify potential options to best meet the client’s needs.
  • Attend meetings to understand the benefits, considerations, disadvantages and gaps in any design being proposed.
  • Work in conjunction with the client to draft point of view papers explaining options to support the client's decision-making for design of the solution.
  • Challenge and support the SI, where appropriate, to identify suitable options to be presented and discussed with the client so that they can make an informed decision.
  • Use your experience of managing payroll or of payroll roles in ERP implementations to support the client to draft test scenarios and test cases.

The client is based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, but most work is virtual and any travel is rare and will be agreed in advance.
