We, TLT are searching for Contract Paralegals with experience in document review or handling a litigious caseload.The role will be on an initial 3-month contract and paid a day rate via an Umbrella Company. You will ideally reside in either Bristol or Manchester.Your RoleDeveloping an understanding of complex issues in order to review and categorise a wide range of evidence in support of an investigation.Using e-disclosure platforms and specific systems (full training provided) to implement both relevance and redaction policies and decisions, to provide disclosure to relevant stakeholdersTaking detailed instructions from fee earners within the team and providing regular updates on progress.Attending meetings and contributing to discussions to enhance and maintain the quality, consistency, and value of the team s work.Meeting targets and time recording.Managing financial outputs and billing responsibilitiesKnowledge, Skills and ExperienceIdeally 6 months experience working as a paralegal.Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)Accuracy, good organisational skills and flexibilityGood knowledge of Word and Outlook is required and experience in Excel, PowerPoint, interwoven would be beneficialDesirable, but not essential, are proficient Excel skills (with basic and vlookup formulas, pivot tables, pivot charts & managing large spreadsheets) and the ability to export data to other spreadsheets and charts efficiently, whilst also being able to put together easy-to-read analysisTo have basic knowledge of and be able to use common functions of relevant computer applications with appropriate trainingAbout TLTFast paced, fast growing and forward thinking, TLT is the law firm that helps clients stay one step ahead, and we do the same for our people.We work with high profile clients in innovative sectors.
