Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver detailed mechanical design and engineering support for decommissioning programmes.
- Lead mechanical design packages from concept to delivery.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in mechanical design.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar (or ONC/OND + experience).
- Strong grasp of engineering standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent technical reporting and documentation skills.
- Must hold active UK Security Clearance (SC or higher).

THE CONTRACT MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER ROLE:
You’ll deliver detailed mechanical design and engineering support for decommissioning programmes across highly secure facilities. From concept to delivery, you’ll lead mechanical design packages, liaise with cross-functional teams, and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Experience within secure or high-hazard industries is highly desirable.
CONTRACT MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
