Summary: The role of Contract Manager involves overseeing the management of large EPCM package contracts and site services agreements for a significant Oil & Gas project in the Middle East. The position requires a proactive professional with extensive experience in contract development and execution within the Oil & Gas sector. The Contract Manager will lead tender processes, manage contract negotiations, and ensure successful project delivery through effective contract management. This is a long-term contract position with a leading EPC contractor based in Surrey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage large EPCM package contracts and site services agreements for the project.
- Prepare and issue comprehensive tender documentation, ensuring all packages are complete and viable.
- Lead tender clarification meetings and facilitate communication with tenderers.
- Manage the issuance of contracts, including preparation of relevant documentation.
- Oversee technical and commercial negotiations, ensuring timely evaluations and strategy execution.
- Conduct post-award contract management, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Lead contract close-out processes.
- Report on contract progress through project systems, from pre-award to post-award.
Key Skills:
- BSc or equivalent in a legal, business, or engineering discipline (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, etc.).
- Essential EPCM experience in Oil & Gas projects.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in contract development and execution within the Oil & Gas sector.
- UK working rights.
