Contract Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias

The Role

Electrical fault-finding and maintenance

PLC fault-finding and controls

Working with relays, contacts and associated electrical equipment

Diagnosing and repairing machinery breakdowns

Supporting mechanical maintenance activities

Working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance

Responding to production breakdowns

Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently

Shift Pattern

The site operates a rotating shift pattern:

06:00–14:00

08:00–16:00

13:00–21:00

About You

  • Strong electrical maintenance experience
  • Industrial machinery fault-finding experience
  • PLC fault-finding / controls experience
  • Good understanding of electrical systems, relays and contacts
  • Mechanical maintenance experience
  • Practical pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge
  • Manufacturing, FMCG, food production or similar experience
  • Relevant engineering qualifications
  • Electrical competency is particularly important for this role, so you must be confident working safely with industrial electrical systems.
