Redline Group is seeking an experienced Contract Operations Project Manager to support a leading aerospace and defence electronics manufacturer in Berkshire.
You will manage aerospace electronics projects from First Article Inspection (FAI) through production to End-of-Life (EOL), ensuring successful manufacturing transfers, supplier performance and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities - Contract Operations Project Manager - Berkshire
- Manage production ramp-up, FAI and serial manufacturing.
- Lead manufacturing transfers to external suppliers.
- Monitor supplier quality, cost and delivery performance.
- Manage obsolescence and supply chain risks.
- Coordinate engineering, manufacturing and quality teams.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Aerospace or defence project management experience.
- Manufacturing transfer / outsourcing experience - essential.
- EN9100 aerospace quality standards - essential.
- Experience with FAI, production and supplier management.
- Understanding of electronics or avionics manufacturing.
- Obsolescence and product lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of DO-254, DO-178 or DAL A.
This role has an indicative OUTSIDE IR35 determination therefore we can accept candidates who would like to operate through their own PSC.
