Key Responsibilities:
- Reacting to electrical and mechanical breakdowns, fault finding, and analysis.
- Collaborating with other departments to improve site operations.
- Attending meetings, analyzing data, and proposing solutions for equipment performance enhancement.
- Participating in projects for effective engineering installation and commissioning.
- Conducting PLC fault finding.
Key Skills:
- A formal qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (apprentice served, NVQ, HNC or equivalent).
- Strong electrical experience, preferably in an FMCG environment.
- Knowledge of controls, fault analysis, and solution provision.
- Experience in both reactive and preventative maintenance.
- Good technical ability related to automation hardware and software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplined team with varying technical experience.

Job Description - Electrical maintenance engineer
My Client is a leading manufacturing site looking for Electrical maintenance engineer with FMCG experience to join on both an ongoing basis.
Duties as a Electrical maintenance engineer:
- Reacting to breakdowns both electrically and mechanically, fault finding, analysing and continuously improving the site.
- Work closely with other departments to improve the site.
- Attend meetings as required, analyse data and find solutions to improve equipment performance whilst ensuring safe working practice and full communications are maintained at all times.
- In addition, you will be involved in projects within the business to develop an effective engineering install and commissioning.
- PLC fault finding
Requirements as a Electrical maintenance engineer:
- A formal qualification in an electrical or mechanical engineering subject (apprentice served, NVQ, HNC or equivalent)
- Strong electrical experience preferable within a FMCG environment.
- Knowledge / experience of working with controls, analysing faults and providing solutions.
- Experience of both reactive and preventative maintenance
- Good technical ability relating to automation hardware and software.
- Strong organisation and communication skills and the ability to work in a multi-disciplined team of varying levels of technical experience.
