Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Contract: Outside IR35

Rate: £45.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm
SF Recruitment's Engineering division is currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in Loughborough on an interim contract basis.
This is an Outside IR35 opportunity paying £45.00 per hour, working a straightforward Monday-to-Friday day shift.
The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will ideally be apprentice trained to Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering and have a strong background working within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide electrical maintenance support across a busy manufacturing environment.
- Carry out electrical fault finding and respond to reactive maintenance issues when required.
- Support corrective action and reliability projects.
- Deliver continuous improvement and engineering improvement projects.
- Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective, long-term solutions.
- Work closely with the wider maintenance and engineering team to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures.
The Successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer
You will ideally have:
Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification or recognised electrical apprenticeship.
Strong electrical maintenance experience within manufacturing or industrial environments.
Excellent electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Experience working on industrial machinery and production equipment.
Ability to work independently and quickly identify and resolve engineering issues.
Previous contract/interim experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
This is an immediate-start contract offering £45.00 per hour Outside IR35.
