Summary: The Contract Data Science Manager will lead the Data Science division for a prominent client, focusing on both technical leadership and hands-on contributions in a Senior - Principal capacity. This role requires strong technical skills in Python, SQL, and machine learning, alongside excellent communication and leadership abilities. The position involves collaboration with product and technology teams, with an emphasis on strategic direction. Experience in Pricing, Recommendations, and Personalisation is preferred but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical roadmap for the Data Science division.
- Engage in hands-on data science work in a Senior - Principal capacity.
- Communicate effectively with product teams and wider technology teams.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction within the team.
- Manage upwards and collaborate with stakeholders.

One of our most established clients is in the market for a Contract Data Science Manager to lead their Data Science division. As a Contract Data Science Manager you will lead the technical roadmap and also be hands on in a Senior - Principal Data Science capacity. We are looking for a contract Data Science Manager that doesn't just have great technical skills (Python/SQL/ML etc) but also brilliant comms, leadership and strategic direction. You will also as a Contract Data Science Manager have a background working with product teams and wider technology teams as well as managing upwards. Ideally, your Data Science experience includes Pricing and Reccommendations as well as Personalisation but that is not essential.
