Contract Data Engineer

We're looking for a highly motivated Data Engineer to join a fast-paced, collaborative team supporting a Tier 1 multinational investment bank. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys balancing BAU and project-based work, and has strong technical experience in Python and kdb+, particularly within the FX domain.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines that support FX business-as-usual tasks and smaller enhancement projects

  • Engage directly with Front Office stakeholders, primarily within the FICC (Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities) asset classes

Tech Stack:

  • Python (80%) - Primary language for data engineering and analytics

  • kdb+ (20%) - Supporting Legacy systems and Real Time data processing

Preferred Experience:

  • Front Office experience, particularly within FICC

  • Familiarity with FX trading datasets and environments
