Summary: The role of Contract Data Engineer involves supporting a global software company in designing and implementing data solutions. This hybrid position requires 2-3 days per week on-site in Cambridge and is focused on utilizing medallion architecture and cloud services. The client is seeking an urgent hire to begin as soon as possible. The contract is initially for 6 months and falls inside IR35 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data solutions using medallion architecture.
- Utilize Databricks and CI/CD tools for data engineering tasks.
- Develop data pipelines using AWS services, ideally AWS Glue.
- Collaborate with teams to support various data projects.
Key Skills:
- Experience with medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers).
- Strong experience with Databricks.
- CI/CD tools experience, particularly with Git or Terraform.
- Cloud services experience, specifically with AWS.
- Ideally, experience with AWS Glue for data pipeline development.
Salary (Rate): £550 daily

We’re working with a global software company looking for a contract Data Engineer to support on a number of exciting projects designing and implementing data solutions.
Requirements:

- Cloud services experience with AWS
- Ideally AWS Glue experience to develop data pipelines
