Summary: This role involves reviewing completed works in the Causeway and West Area for the service and response maintenance division, ensuring compliance with contractual standards and health & safety regulations. The Contract Compliance Assessor will conduct inspections, maintain records, and provide feedback to improve workmanship. The position requires a gas qualification and experience in servicing gas heating systems. The role is based in Londonderry, Northern Ireland, and operates Monday to Friday with flexibility required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct visual and functional checks on completed heating services and response maintenance works.
- Ensure tasks meet contractual requirements and health & safety regulations.
- Confirm necessary paperwork, such as Gas Safety Certificates (CP12), is completed and uploaded.
- Identify defects, incomplete work, or poor workmanship and escalate as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, including photographs, notes, and follow-up actions through the Accuserv mobile app.
- Provide feedback to the Area Foreman regarding workmanship and areas for improvement.
- Perform any other tasks as directed by Management.
Key Skills:
- Gas qualified.
- Experience and excellent knowledge of servicing and maintaining gas heating systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
- OFTEC qualification (desirable).
- Experience working on Social Housing contracts (desirable).
- Understanding of NIHE contract specifications regarding servicing and response maintenance.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and within specified timeframes.
- Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.

Job Description
Role Overview:
This role will be responsible for reviewing a percentage of all works completed in the Causeway and West Area on the service and response maintenance division of the contract, to ensure that works are being completed to standard and as outlined in the contractual requirements.
Reports to: Area Foreman
Direct Reports: N/A
Working Hours
Monday Friday 7.30am 5pm Flexibility is required.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct visual and functional checks on the required number of completed heating services and response maintenance works
- Ensure all tasks meet contractual requirements and health & safety regulations
- Confirm that necessary paperwork, such as Gas Safety Certificates (CP12), have been correctly completed and uploaded
- Identify any defects, incomplete work, or poor workmanship and escalate as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, including photographs, notes, and follow-up actions through the Accuserv mobile app
- Provide feedback to the Area Foreman regarding workmanship and areas for improvement so this can be relayed to the Engineer who completed the works.
- Any other item as directed by Management
Essential Criteria
- Must be Gas qualified
- Must have experience in and excellent knowledge of servicing and maintaining gas heating systems
- Must have a full UK driving licence
Desirable Criteria
- OFTEC qualification
- Experience working on Social Housing contracts
- Understand the NIHE contract specifications with regard to the requirements of the servicing and response maintenance contract
