Summary: The role of Contract Business Analyst (Endur) focuses on supporting a global energy trading client in a multi-year transformation project for Gas & Power operations. The position involves translating trading requirements into functional specifications for Endur, assessing risks, and ensuring alignment between business needs and technical delivery. The contract is for an initial six months with potential for extension, and the role is hybrid based in London. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in energy and commodity trading, particularly with Endur or similar ETRM systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate trading requirements into functional specs for Endur
- Assess risks, opportunities and business impact of Endur solutions
- Analyse trade lifecycle, data flows and system integrations
- Ensure traceability of Endur requirements through to delivery
- Work with vendors and tech teams to align Endur delivery with business needs
- Configure and document Endur workflows and deal setups
- Define acceptance criteria and lead Endur UAT
- Run stakeholder sessions and design workshops for trading processes
Key Skills:
- Extensive BA experience in energy and commodity trading
- Proven delivery on Endur (or similar ETRM) projects across front-to-back office
- Deep understanding of the Endur trade lifecycle, deal modelling and static data
- Agile project delivery experience in trading environments
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation

X4 Technology are partnered with a global energy trading client offering a contract Endur Business Analyst opportunity for a high-profile, multi-year transformation programme across their Gas & Power trading operations . This large-scale digital initiative is focused on streamlining the end-to-end deal lifecycle through the implementation of Endur and other core trading systems (Complex Deals Engine, Trade Surveillance Analytics, Exchange Posit). The programme aims to deliver substantial revenue growth and cost savings via a simplified process landscape and scalable platform.
Responsibilities of the Endur Business Analyst
