Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to identify all applications used across departments.
- Develop a high-level "as-is" application landscape, detailing application names, core functionalities, supported business capabilities, system ownership, and technical platforms.
- Map and document integration points between systems, including APIs, ETL processes, and manual data flows.
- Produce clear and informative visual documentation, such as application landscape diagrams, integration maps, interface catalogues, and high-level data flow diagrams.
- Analyze system interdependencies to identify overlaps, redundancies, and potential risks.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of a sustainable framework for maintaining and updating the application inventory.
Key Skills:
- Experienced in roles such as Systems Business Analyst, Application Analyst, or within IT or Enterprise Architecture functions.
- Strong understanding of enterprise application ecosystems, system interdependencies, and integration principles.
- Practical experience in application mapping, process documentation, and interface specification.
- Proficient in business process modeling techniques (e.g., BPMN), system architecture diagramming, and data flow mapping.
- Skilled in using visualization and documentation tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or equivalent platforms.
