Summary: The role of Affiliate Automation Tester at AND Digital involves designing and executing comprehensive test plans and automated tests for both browser and backend applications. The position requires on-site presence in Leeds for two days a week and emphasizes collaboration with developers and stakeholders to ensure thorough test coverage. The ideal candidate will have experience with test management tools and be proficient in writing BDD scenarios. This contract position is set to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and document comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Implement automated tests using e2e tools such as Cypress, Playwright, and Selenium.
- Implement automated API tests using tools such as Postman/Newman.
- Develop tests in Typescript/Java/Javascript independently or with developers.
- Perform tests manually, document results, and report defects.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Write and update user documentation and operational procedures.
- Devise and deploy fixes and improvements.
- Demonstrable experience working with Xray or similar test management tools.
- Ability to write BDD scenarios.
Key Skills:
- Experience in test planning and documentation.
- Proficiency in browser test automation tools (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium).
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman/Newman).
