Summary: The Content Operations Lead is responsible for transforming client production and content operations by defining and delivering operating standards, managing change, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. This role involves coordinating content production efforts to ensure effective and compliant use of centrally developed content across global markets. The position requires collaboration with internal teams and external agencies to maintain alignment and consistency in communication materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in content production and asset management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing content operations with a clear overview of all running/planned/incoming activities, continuously monitoring status against agreed plans.
  • Aligning with teams to ensure all relevant information is available to content teams, including in-house and external agencies.
  • Ensuring all jobs are completed on-time, on-budget, and on-quality, including orchestrating discussions with the Creative and Brand teams.
  • Reviewing various asset types through the Quality Control process, requiring deep technical asset knowledge.
  • Supporting onboarding, management reporting, information flow, business processes, and organizational planning for optimal performance.
  • Working across internal production teams and external production agencies, establishing relationships with key marketing and creative function owners.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, ideally also in Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Experience with CGI and 3D file formats (e.g., STP, OBJ, GLB, FBX), including reviewing and optimizing outputs.
  • Meticulous attention to detail regarding color accuracy, consistency, and visual quality.
  • Ability to communicate complex principles clearly and concisely.
  • Deep technical understanding of asset types for driving technical conversations.
  • Technical flair for understanding platforms such as Work Management and Asset Storage.
  • Experience in a Creative Advertising/Creative Production Agency or in-house production facility.
  • Previous hands-on software experience in a content production team is preferable.

Purpose of the role
To support the transformation of the client production and content operations, achieving optimal performance through the defining and delivery of operating standards, change management and of continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinating/orchestrating content production efforts of centrally developed content for them to be used effectively
and compliantly by markets globally, while ensuring alignment and consistency with the globally developed communication materials.

Accountabilities
Content Specialist (Contractor UK) will be responsible for:
. Managing content operations with a clear overview of all running/planned/incoming/activities, and continuously monitor the status vs. agreed plans
. Alignment with the teams working to the overall common goal (this includes both, in-house content team as well as external agencies), guaranteeing content teams always have all relevant information.
. Ensuring all jobs are completed on-time/on-budget/on-quality. This includes orchestrating discussion forums on a regular basis with the Creative team and the Brand team, and proactively manage any on-going operational issues as they arise.
. Review of many asset types through our Quality Control process (deep technical asset knowledge is required)
. Support on-boarding, better management reporting, information flow and management, business process, and organizational planning for optimal performance and commercial benefit.

Relationships
. Work across Internal production teams and external production agencies.
. Establishes and maintains relationships with key 'owners' of marketing and creative functions

Knowledge & Skills
. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (retouching, masking, color grading) and ideally Illustrator and InDesign.
. Proficiency working with CGI and 3D file formats (eg, STP, OBJ, GLB, FBX), including the ability to review, optimize, and prepare CGI outputs for use across various channels.
. A meticulous eye for detail - you care deeply about color accuracy, consistency, and visual quality.
. To be articulate and able to communicate complex principles in a concise and simple manner.
. Deep technical understanding of asset types enabling you to drive technical conversations internally or with agencies
. Technical flair to understand platforms (Work Management, Asset Storage, etc.) Professional Experience
. Experience in a Creative Advertising/Creative Production Agency or in-house production facility
. Previous hands-on software experience in a content production team would be preferable
