The Role
As a Content Designer, you will be responsible for creating clear, accessible and user-focused content that meets user needs while adhering to established content standards and design principles.
Key Experience Required
- Strong experience creating accessible, plain English content
- Experience applying content design standards, patterns and style guides
- Ability to use qualitative and quantitative research to inform content decisions
- Experience testing and iterating content based on user feedback
- Proven stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
Desirable Experience
- Government Digital Service (GDS) or wider public sector experience
- Digital service delivery experience
- Knowledge of User-Centred Design (UCD) methodologies
- Experience with prototyping and design tools such as:
- Figma
- Mural
- Lucid
- Sketch
Additional Information
- Rate: £380 per day
- Contract: Inside IR35
- Clearance: Must be SC eligible
- Location: Manchester, Newcastle, Blackpool or Sheffield
- Hybrid Working: On-site attendance typically required 1-2 times per month and for key sprint activities
- Start Date: ASAP
