Content Designer | SFIA 4 | £380pd Inside IR35 | Hybrid | SC Eligible

The Role

As a Content Designer, you will be responsible for creating clear, accessible and user-focused content that meets user needs while adhering to established content standards and design principles.

Key Experience Required

• Strong experience creating accessible, plain English content
• Experience applying content design standards, patterns and style guides
• Ability to use qualitative and quantitative research to inform content decisions
• Experience testing and iterating content based on user feedback
• Proven stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams

Desirable Experience

• Government Digital Service (GDS) or wider public sector experience
• Digital service delivery experience
• Knowledge of User-Centred Design (UCD) methodologies
• Experience with prototyping and design tools such as:

• Figma
• Mural
• Lucid
• Sketch

Additional Information

• Rate: £380 per day
• Contract: Inside IR35
• Clearance: Must be SC eligible
• Location: Manchester, Newcastle, Blackpool or Sheffield
• Hybrid Working: On-site attendance typically required 1-2 times per month and for key sprint activities
