Summary: We are seeking an experienced Content Designer to contribute to a significant Microsoft 365 Copilot programme within a large Higher Education setting. The role focuses on enhancing the adoption and use of AI-powered tools in academic and professional services. The successful candidate will collaborate with Human-Centred Design specialists to create user-focused content that facilitates learning and practical application of Microsoft Copilot tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop user-centred content, guidance and learning materials
  • Create training content including guides, walkthroughs, learning pathways and scenarios
  • Translate complex technical concepts into simple, practical and accessible content
  • Work closely with HCD, academic and programme stakeholders
  • Support content across multiple channels including workshops, self-service resources and digital platforms
  • Apply accessibility and inclusive design principles throughout
  • Iterate and improve content based on feedback and user insights

Key Skills:

  • Proven background as a Content Designer, UX Writer, Content Strategist or similar
  • Strong understanding of User-Centred Design/Human-Centred Design principles
  • Experience creating digital learning or enablement content
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive content design (WCAG)
  • Experience within Higher Education, Public Sector or large complex organisations would be highly beneficial

We are currently looking for an experienced Content Designer to join a major Microsoft 365 Copilot programme within a large Higher Education environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile digital enablement initiative focused on improving the way academic, student and professional services teams adopt and utilise AI-powered tools across Teaching & Learning.

Working closely with Human-Centred Design specialists and academic stakeholders, you will be responsible for creating clear, engaging and user-focused content that supports adoption, learning and real-world use of Microsoft Copilot tools.
