Key Responsibilities:

  • Design content that helps users complete tasks, understand information, and achieve their goals.
  • Develop and maintain content guidelines, voice & tone standards, and terminology to ensure consistency across products.
  • Plan and write content for user interfaces, error messages, help and support content, onboarding flows, and more.
  • Collaborate closely with UX designers, researchers, developers, and product teams to integrate content seamlessly into designs.
  • Participate in research and usability testing to validate and improve content.
  • Advocate for plain language, accessibility, and inclusivity in all user-facing content.
  • Use data, research insights, and user feedback to refine and improve content over time.
  • Contribute to creating and maintaining content patterns, templates, and reusable components within the design system.
  • Audit and maintain existing content to ensure it remains accurate, relevant, and effective.
  • Educate stakeholders and teams on the value of content design and how it impacts the user experience.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and best practices, and bring fresh ideas to the team.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience writing and designing content for digital products, ideally in a UX or product design context.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing content design work that demonstrates clear thinking and user-centered design principles.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a focus on clarity, simplicity, and empathy.
  • Familiarity with UX design processes, accessibility standards (like WCAG), and design tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, Confluence).
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum product development environments (preferred).
  • Understanding of localization and writing for global audiences (preferred).
  • Familiarity with usability testing, analytics tools, and content management systems (preferred).
