Content Designer Public Sector Project | Contract Telford - hybrid working SC cleared requirement
Our client, a large global business consultancy is looking for an experienced Content Designer for a major digital services programme within the public sector working primarily across several key digital services, including services relating to customer support, compliance and fraud prevention.
You’ll be responsible for turning complex policy and “government-speak” into clear, accessible and user-friendly online content, while using evidence and user insight to continually improve the experience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Write, edit and structure clear digital content
- Research and understand user needs through analytics, user research and usability testing
- Work closely with User Researchers, Interaction Designers and Product Managers
- Collaborate with policy teams and subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate and effective
- Iterate and improve content within an agile environment
What we’re looking for:
- Strong content design and content management skills
- Experience with content architecture
- Evidence-based approach to design and decision-making
- Experience working iteratively in agile teams
- Strong understanding of accessibility and inclusive design
- Ability to simplify complex information and communicate it clearly
