Summary: The Consulting Engineer at Sword is responsible for delivering high-impact technical solutions in the Energy, Public, and Finance sectors. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, from design through to implementation, while maintaining clear and effective communication throughout
- Take full ownership of technical issues, ensuring thorough diagnosis and resolution
- Deliver project engineering services, including (but not limited to) low-level design, implementation, and consultancy
- Provide expert-level support to clients and serve as an internal escalation point for complex support incidents
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and security-related issues with precision and efficiency
- Mentor and support the development of other team members
Key Skills:
- Minimum CCNP level Cisco certification
- Knowledge and experience of deploying at least 5 of the following in a production environment: Cisco Routers (and associated protocols such as EIGRP, OSPG, BGP), Cisco Switches (and associated technologies such as VTP, STP, VSS), Cisco Datacentre Switching (Nexus and associated technologies such as VPC, VDC), Cisco Wireless, Cisco Firewalls (ASA, or Firepower), Cisco Voice/IPT, Cisco SDWAN, Cisco ISE, Azure and AWS cloud environments, Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco Meraki
- Ability to pass the Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) Security Clearance
