Summary: The role of Consultant User Researcher/Service Designer involves working with Deloitte on a high-profile public sector healthcare project in Ireland. The position requires leading user research and design workshops to improve service experiences through design-led thinking. Candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate insights into actionable service improvements while traveling across Ireland. This is a contract position for an initial duration of 9 weeks with all travel expenses covered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate collaborative workshops and co-design sessions with stakeholders and users.
- Conduct user research to surface insights and map current experiences and pain points.
- Translate research findings into actionable recommendations and service design artefacts.
- Review and analyse existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver strategic, user-centred solutions.
- Present findings and design concepts to internal and client stakeholders clearly and persuasively.
- Travel to client sites across Ireland as part of a hands-on, field-driven design approach.
